Q: What is the warranty?
A: Commercial window film installations come with a 10-year film warranty or a 16-year premium warranty on labor and material direct from the manufacturer. Auto window film and residential window film come with a lifetime warranty against adhesive failure, 5-year warranty against glass breakage and 40-month warranty against seal failure.
Q: What is the expected life of window film?
A: 3M Films, under normal circumstances, will maintain their effectiveness for fifteen to twenty years.
Q: What are the benefits of 3M sun control window film?

Q: How large is your installation area?
A: Installation coverage area ranges from San Francisco, CA to Reno, NV. Of course, our coverage area is not limited.
Q: Do tenants have to move out during installation?
A: Installing window film involves no odors or chemicals. It can be applied during normal office hours. We are also available evenings and weekends for your convenience. We only need 3 to 5 feet of window access so we can properly clean and install the window films.
Q: Are there any other types of applications?
A: Frosted privacy window film on doors, sidelights and conference rooms may also be applied to suit customers’ needs (company logos, stripes or other custom applications). Anti-graffiti films, installed on exterior glass, reduce the cost of replacing glass when scratched or etched. It can also be installed on mirrors and on steel surfaces in elevators.
Q: Does it obscure your view?
A: Our film is designed to cut out harmful heat and ultraviolet rays while also letting in natural light. Films range from completely black opaque to an almost-clear high-performance film. Depending on your specific needs, Tintmaster can always recommend the right film for the job.
Q: Can it reduce my energy costs?
A: Installing window film on average pays the customer back in 5 to 7 years. We can also run a software program, given your energy use, and show you how much energy you can reduce per year with each film you have selected.
